Limited Warranty Policy
Effective May 2026 · South Valley Equipment
Overview
South Valley Equipment (SVE) stands behind the parts we sell. Where a manufacturer warranty is not included with a part, SVE offers its own limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship as described below.
This warranty applies to parts purchased directly from SVE through our website (southvalleyequipment.com) or over the counter at our Pleasant Grove, Utah location. This is a limited warranty — it covers only what is stated here, and nothing more.
Warranty coverage by product type
Fuel system components
Injectors, injection pumps, common rail assemblies, and related fuel system parts are covered by SVE's 90-day limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship from the date of purchase.
Important — fuel system contamination: Fuel system components are extremely sensitive to contamination. This warranty does not cover failures caused by a contaminated, improperly cleaned, or inadequately primed fuel system. Warranty claims on fuel system parts require confirmation that the fuel system was cleaned and primed per manufacturer specifications before installation. Claims submitted without this documentation may be denied.
Drive motors and supplier-warranted parts
Drive motors and select other parts are covered by the supplying manufacturer's or distributor's warranty. SVE will facilitate warranty claims on your behalf. Contact us with your order number and part number to initiate a claim.
Wear parts, tracks, tools, and hardware
Rubber tracks, bucket teeth, hydraulic tools, and consumable wear parts are sold as-is and are not covered by any SVE warranty.

How to file a warranty claim
Step 1
Contact SVE
Email or call with your order number, part number, and a description of the failure. Claims must be submitted within the warranty period.
Step 2
Claim review
SVE reviews the claim against this policy. We may request photos, installation notes, or fuel system service documentation.
Step 3
RMA issued
If approved, we issue an RMA number in writing. The RMA number must appear on the outside of the return package. You have 14 days to ship the part back.
Step 4
Inspection
The part is inspected on arrival. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless SVE determines the part was defective.
Step 5
Resolution
If the defect is confirmed, SVE ships a replacement or issues a refund within 5–7 business days. If inspection fails, the part is returned at the customer's expense.
Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability
Required legal language
Disclaimer of implied warranties. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SVE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. No implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose applies to any part sold by SVE, except to the extent that applicable law prevents such disclaimer. SVE makes no representation that any part is fit for any purpose other than its ordinary, intended use as described in the product listing.
Limitation of liability. SVE's liability under this warranty — and under any other legal theory — is limited to the original purchase price of the part. SVE is not responsible for labor costs, equipment downtime, lost revenue, lost profits, or any other consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, whether or not SVE was advised of the possibility of such damages and whether or not a warranty claim is approved.
State law rights. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
